Earlier this month, the quorum court approved two ballot measures during a special session.
The first option asks for only the households in unincorporated areas of the county to pay a $40.00 fee a year.
The second ballot measure would create a county-wide tax increase equal to about $4.00 a year for a $100,000 property.
The budget cuts were requested in anticipation of neither measure passing in November.
It's estimated they could save the county about a million dollars.
The quorum court approves the final budget in December.
