AROUND ARKANSAS-- The high winds are providing the perfect conditions for fire dangers. And that means burn bans were still in effect Monday night. As of Monday, the bans were down to just two counties, Madison and Franklin. Firefighters in our area are discouraging any outside burning because of the extremely dry conditions. They say it's too risky and a fire could spread rapidly and get out of control. So what's the difference between a burn ban and a red flag warning? You could be cited if you're caught starting a fire under a burn ban. However, no citations are issued under a red flag warning.
