ROGERS -- Firefighters had to cut a man out of his car after a three-car crash left him trapped.

It happened around 9:16 am on Friday at the intersection of West Walnut Street and 13th Street in Rogers.

Police said a 2013 Kia Rio driven by James Gillaspy, 31 of Bentonville was driving east on Walnut when he ran a red light at the intersection. He collided with another car headed north on 13th. This crash caused a collision with a third car.

After firefighters extricated Gillaspy, he was was taken to Northwest Medical for non-life threatening injuries.

Gillaspy was cited for disobeying a traffic control device.
