Evening news anchor Laine Baker comes to Northwest Arkansas from the Sunflower State, where her family settled in Leavenworth after her father retired from the Air Force.
She is a proud Jayhawk, having graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
The Kansas City Star is where Laine got her start in journalism. She then moved on to the NBC affiliate in Topeka Kansas, where she was a weekend/morning anchor and reporter.
Laine loves spending time with her daughter, husband, and the family's two adopted dogs, Ozzy and Jazz.
She also enjoys traveling, and has been all over the world, with some of her favorite
