SPRINGDALE -- Police arrested Randy Morris, 44, Wednesday after they said he injected a woman with an unknown drug, tied her up and raped her. According to the police report, the woman met Morris at a Springdale motel to get methamphetamine.

She told officers that she went to take a shower in the motel room, and while in the shower, Morris came in and grabbed her. The report said the woman claims Morris then held her down and injected her with an unknown substance. She told police she does not use needles to injest meth, but that there were two needles in the motel room. She said Morris tied her hands with zip-ties and choked her with a belt. The police report said the woman had ligature marks on her wrists. Investigators said the woman told them that once Morris tied her up, he raped her.

Afterward, she said Morris sent her to a gas station to get quarters for laundry. While at the gas station, officers said the woman passed the clerk a note saying she'd been raped and needed help. When police searched the motel room, they said they found syringes, methamphetamine and a black bag containing several air soft guns and a knife. Morris denied the accusations.

He faces charges of rape, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Washington County Jail.
