Man Pleads Not Guilty to Campground Rape

WASHINGTON COUNTY - William Osburne, currently out on bond, is scheduled to be back in court for trial September 17th.
WASHINGTON COUNTY - A man accused of raping a woman at a Washington County campground pleaded not guilty in court Wednesday.

In June, deputies say William Osburne sexually assaulted the woman in front of her children. According to the police report, Osburne was staying at a nearby campsite. The woman told deputies Osburne groped and threatened her and when she tried to get away, he followed, tore her clothes off and sexually assaulted her.

Osburne faces rape and terroristic threatening charges. His trial is scheduled to start September 17th. He is currently out on bond.
