According to this map from the Tax Foundation, the Natural State offers some of the best buying power in the nation for your bills.

Using data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the Tax Foundation put together the infographic breaking down the worth of $100 in each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia.

One hundred bucks goes the furthest in Mississippi ($115.74), Arkansas ($114.16), Missouri ($113.51), Alabama (113.51), and South Dakota ($113.38).

Across the country, most folks are getting at least full value on $100. But if you're going for best budgeting, avoid Hawaii, New York, New Jersey and California, where your c-note is actually closer to just 87 bucks.
