Mother Nature Ruins Arkansas Couple's Vacation

WEST PULASKI COUNTY, AR - Charla Goodson now hears the sound of chainsaws instead of the soothing sound of the ocean.
WEST PULASKI COUNTY, AR - Charla Goodson now hears the sound of chainsaws instead of the soothing sound of the ocean.
"From what we understand the tornado decided to come through and decided it was going to hit right here," says Goodson.
Charla and her husband were living on their boat vacationing in Florida when they received the phone call telling them they had been hit.
"All we got were just a couple pictures and pictures don't do justice we could see very little. When we got here we were just shocked, blown away," says Goodson.
So the couple finally got plane tickets arriving a week after the tornado hit.
The home is missing windows, the roof is gone, and trees down.
But Charla is trying to remain positive.
"No windows but a nice breeze kind of just like on the ocean," says Goodson.
So for the next couple of weeks, their boat will stay docked while they pick up the pieces of their West Pulaski home.
