SPRINGDALE -- A probable cause report reveals more about a homicide investigation that is underway in Springdale.
SPRINGDALE -- The man police say shot and killed his mother on Friday walked to a liquor store to buy beer right after he shot her, according to a probable cause report.

Scott Rocha, 36, remains in the Washington County Jail facing capital murder and tampering with evidence charges -- both are felonies.

Rocha's probable cause report also states he told detectives that he shot his mother on accident after she came home Friday 'disappointed' that he had been drinking all day.

The incident happened at their home on Loblolly Place.

Rocha is due in court on Monday.
