FORT SMITH -- A truck and trailer filled with supplies will be heading to central Arkansas on Friday evening to help deliver some relief to tornado victims.  KISR 93, Russell Cellular and Fort Smith native/professional bull rider Jeff Lee have teamed up to help bring supplies to those in need. Donations may be dropped off all this week at Russell Cellular on Zero Street.

"I just want everybody to come by, and if you can bring any little thing. Just one box of diapers. Anything. Every little bit helps," Carol Lovelace, Sale Manager at KISR, said. The truck and trailer pull out at 6:00pm on Friday evening so you have until then to drop your donations off.

Because there is already a surplus of some donated goods, they are asking folks to refrain from donating water, clothes, shoes and cash donations are not being accepted at this time.

Things most needed:

Batteries, disposable plates and silverware, flashlights, diapers, baby food, baby formula, baby wipes; personal hygiene items such as toilet tissue, Kleenex, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap and shampoo; work gloves, tarps, insect repellent, trash bags, Gatorade, non-perishable food items
