NORTHWEST ARKANSAS -- Officials with Rogers and Centerton have released updates on snow and ice removal from city streets.

ROGERS

According to the city, crews have been to Hyland Park, Brush Creek, Dixieland, New Hope Road, Oak Street, Airport Loop Road, and Rife Medical Lane among others.

A private contractor is helping to blade the roads and will keep working till late tonight. They warn the roads will probably start freezing tonight, making the morning commute treacherous. Avoid traveling if at all possible or wait till the morning craziness is over before venturing out.

CENTERTON

The mayor reports all roads in the Centerton are good. The street crew worked  all day blading roads and putting treatments down to help melt everything. "Just a word of caution," Mayor Bill Edwards wrote on Facebook, "The goal of the street department was to get all the main roads and then work on the secondary roads, so if we missed you it was not done on purpose."
