Sheriff's Office: Make Sure You Have #Plenty

Because being stuck on the side of the road can get dangerous fast, they've got this one-word piece of advice for motorists who must get out onto these icy streets:
WASHINGTON COUNTY, AR --  The Washington County Sheriff's Office reminds folks: in this weather, the safest bet is to stay home.  But if you've got to get out, being stuck on the side of the road can get dangerous fast. So they've got this one-word piece of advice for motorists who must get out onto these icy streets:

Allow PLENTY of space between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you.

Make sure you have PLENTY of fuel in your vehicle (in case you get stranded).

Make sure you have PLENTY of charge on your phone battery (in case you get stranded and need to call for help).

Stock your vehicle with PLENTY of warm clothing or blankets (in case you get stranded).

And finally, allow PLENTY of time to get to your destination.
