Every year, kids get a chance to learn about the agricultural history of Springdale while also stepping outside of the classroom for some rodeo races. But that's not all.
"It's not just a day of fun," says Rick Schaeffer, with Springdale Public Schools. "Obviously, there's some agricultural training. Also, there's science, technology, engineering, and math involved on all these activities. While they may not realize they're learning some things in those areas, they are."
The kids have been studying the cowboy way of life in class while also learning everything from how to rope a steer, to how to milk a cow and even how to two-step.
