MARION, AR - The Arkansas National Guard remains on duty supporting the Arkansas State Police by providing public safety personnel transportation, health and welfare checks and route assessment along I-55 and I-40.

Soldiers from across the state are supporting the ongoing mission.

The photographs attached to this story were taken around 9:20 a.m. today as Guardsmen checked on motorists and passed out bottled water near Marion (Crittenden County).
