Vilonia, AR - Two months after a tornado hit Faulkner County, teenagers from across the South are showing up to help.

Beryl Baptist church is hosting a 'Launch Out Mission Week'. The church's youth group is combining with a group from Liberty City, Texas.

Pastor Wade Lentz said, "This is something that they never will forget for the rest of their life. Traveling to Vilonia Arkansas, to help out a town that was devastated by a tornado. Being a blessing to somebody, and that is something that they will cherish for years and years to come."

The groups will work in a neighborhood in Vilonia for the entire week helping clean debris and rebuild houses.

Andrew Coop from Texas said, "We feel very blessed by God to be able to serve them."

Seth Ball is from Vilonia and is helping this week, he added, "It's been hard going through town, still is, always has been because there's nothing left."

The team helped rebuild Bruce Nonnemacher's roof.

Nonnemacher remembered the night of the storm, "I was at church, my wife and my sister in law and my grandson were here at the house, they rode it out by themselves. I'd rather been here with them."

But having kids help him out is pretty special, "They went really above and beyond, it's amazing."

The church is also hosting a community cookout at the location that was once home to Keith's Gas Station, and two Backyard Bible Clubs on Tuesday and Wednesday in Vilonia neighborhoods.
