The Pulse: Baby Gives Thumbs Up & Home Depot Hacked?

Soon-to-be parents in Pennsylvania apparently got a thumbs up from their unborn child. Check out the ultrasound. You can see its tiny fingers folded and what looks like a thumb sticking up. The parents told HLN TV they are expecting twins, but don't know the sex of the babies yet. Dad-to-be, Brandon Hopkins, posted the picture to Reddit last week. The babies are due to arrive in January - and doing a-o-k.

Home Depot is investigating a possible data security breach. The company announced today that it's partnering with banks and law enforcement to investigate quote "some unusual activity" related to customers. The company promises to alert customers if, in fact, their system was hacked.


Authorities are searching for escapees from a youth detention center in Tennessee. In all, 32 teens got away from the Woodland Hills Development Center in Nashville late Monday night. Authorities say - as of this morning (Tuesday) - 23 of them had either turned themselves in or were caught on nearby roads. Officers are combing the area on foot with K-9s and from the air with a helicopter. WSMV reports the escape happened after some sort of disturbance.

US military forces conducted an operation in Somalia yesterday against the Al-Shabaab network. Department of Defense Press Secretary John Kirby says military officials are currently assessing the results of the operation. Al-Shabaab is an Al-Qaeda affiliate based in Somalia. They claimed responsibility for the 2013 attack on Westgate mall in Kenya -- which killed 67 people. The group is trying to overthrow Somalia's government. It regularly launches attacks inside Somalia and in neighboring countries.

Another American journalist appears to have been killed by the terrorist group, ISIS. The group issued another threat to President Obama in regards to what the US does next in the region. For more on this story - click the video on this page.
