Number five -- Boston's mayor will not march in the city's Saint Patrick's Day Parade. Mayor Martin Walsh is not taking part because parade organizers refused to include gay and lesbian groups. Parade organizers and LGBT advocates had been holding talks, but Mayor Walsh said he was disappointed the two sides could not come to an agreement.
Number four -- Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper will sign a bill Monday that requires edible marijuana products to be sold in child resistant packages. The bill is designed to keep children from accidentally ingesting the drug. Under the law, pot must be sold in opaque and child resistant containers. Colorado is the first state to approve the use of recreational marijuana.
Number three -- Honda is recalling nearly 900,000 minivans for a defect that could increase fire risk. The recall includes some Honda Odysseys of model years 2005 through 2010. The automaker said it expects replacement parts will not be available until the summer, however, it can provide customers a temporary repair in the meantime.
Number two -- New developments in the search for missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. Sunday morning, a top Indian military official told CNN his country has temporarily halted its efforts and conserving its assets for now. India plans to resume searching when the military gets fresh instructions. Meanwhile, the Malaysian Ministry of Transporation says police are examining information obtained from a sophisticated flight simulator found at the home of the missing jet's pilot. U.S. intelligence officials are leaning toward the theory the pilots are responsible for the aircraft's disappearance.
Number one -- Two five-story new york buildings exploded last week, injuring dozens and killing eight people. The buildings were served by a 127-year-old gas main. The cause of Wednesday's explosion in East Harlem has not been determined officially, but tests taken of the soil in the area hours after the explosion found natural gas at levels as high as 20-percent. Federal investigators say that number should have been zero.
