A frightening scene at a Pennsylvania high school. Police say at least 20 people were injured when a student attacked his fellow classmates with two knives. According to Murrysville police, the suspect is a 16-year-old sophomore at Franklin Regional Senior High School and is in custody. The victims were treated for injuries, and are expected to survive.

About 2,000 people, including President Obama and the First Lady, attending a memorial in Texas Wednesday, honoring the victims of last week's deadly shooting rampage at the military base in Fort Hood. The president joined the soldiers and families of the fallen.

At least 11 children are injured after a car crashes into a Florida daycare. Panicked parents rushed to Goldenrod Road Kindercare in Winter Park to get their children. Highway patrol officers say up to 12 victims were taken to local hospitals. Some had serious injuries. Now, police are on the hunt for the driver who caused the crash and fled. The investigation is ongoing.

UMass guard Derrick Gordon has become the first openly gay player in Division I men's basketball. Gordon made the announcement in interviews with ESPN and OutSports on Wednesday. "I want to be myself," Gordon said in the interview televised on ESPN. The sophomore was the Minutemen's fourth-leading scorer, with 9.4 points per game last season.

The world's top automaker has announced a major global recall, their second-largest to date. Toyota is recalling just under 6.4 million cars around the world over a handful of issues ranging from steering to seats. No crashes, injuries or deaths reported so far.
