Transit System Adds Springdale Route

SPRINGDALE, AR -- If you've got ideas for where buses are needed in Springdale - now's you're chance to let them know.
SPRINGDALE, AR -- More options for getting on the bus in Springdale are coming.

Ozark Regional Transit says it's developing a plan for a new, as-yet-to-be-named bus route in Springdale, as well as a revision to the existing Route 43 public transit route through the City of Springdale. An existing route,  #43, will no longer go through the NWACC Campus in Washington County but will travel through Johnson.

The new route, says ORT, will go through the NWACC Campus in Washington County, Jones Center and Springdale's Walmart on Thompson, as well as points between.

The new route, made possible in part, by additional funding to ORT from Springdale's city budget.

If you've got ideas of where it should serve, a Public Input Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 6th at the Art Center of the Ozarks, from 6:00 until 8:00PM, and will be an Open-House Format.
