UPDATE: Fayetteville Police 'Confident' Missing Pregnant Woman is Safe

(UPDATE) FAYETTEVILLE, AR-- Fayetteville Police now say investigators are 'confident' a missing woman pregnant with twins is safe.

FAYETTEVILLE, AR-- Fayetteville Police now say investigators are 'confident' a missing woman pregnant with twins is safe.

On Friday, police first reported that 28-year-old Brandi Wade was set to have induced labor Friday morning, but never returned home the previous night.

Authorities say she told family members she had a babysitting job on Betty Jo Drive.

According to investigators, she texted a friend earlier in the day to say her phone battery was running out and the parents of the children she was babysitting were running late.

No one had heard from her since and relatives didn't know who Wade was babysitting.

A short time after asking for the public's assistance in finding Wade, officers pulled her name from the missing person's list. As of 10:30 p.m. Friday, investigators had not yet released the details as to why they believed she was safe.

We will have updates as they become available.
