SPRINGDALE, AR -- Walmart is aiming to bring more sustainable products to folks around the world. Tuesday, Walmart's senior team hosted the company's first sustainability product expo, a three day event with over 3,000 suppliers, including CEO's from Kellog's, General Mills and Coca-Cola.
"We're really excited about this because it's a chance for us not only to see the latest innovations in sustainability, product design and packaging, but it's a chance for us to meet with our suppliers and work on some real challenges," Kathleen McLaughlin, Senior V.P. of Sustainability for Walmart said.
Mclaughlin says the changes involve finding ways to reduce production costs and wastes.
