Thousands are flooding Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport this weekend as they head home from the annual Walmart Shareholders Meeting.
HIGHFILL, AR -- With what some call 'Walmart Week' coming to a close, thousands are flooding Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport as they head home from the annual Walmart Shareholders Meeting. Just hours after Friday's meeting ended, XNA was crowded with people still excited from this week's events.
"I'm pumped up. I came here a little questioning the way things have been going, but now I'm excited," said Tom Randolph of New York.
"What was overwhelming to me is the camaraderie from across the globe. Everybody was so excited about working for the company and it was just really neat to see that," said Margaret Webber of Virginia.
"I'm ready to go home, but I was happy to be here," said Rhonda Harwood of Michigan.
Saturday is also expected to be a busy travel day with the last of the shareholders expected to leave Northwest Arkansas.
