Fall Classic Draws Young Hoopsters

Kids from around the region took part in a local tournament.
FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- Aside from the Hogs, a different group of young athletes were hitting the courts.

Basketball players from around the region made their way to the Rogers Activity Center for some good ol' fashioned scrimmages. The plan was to host the first Razorback Fall Classic Tournament, not enough teams signed up, but for the teams still on board they wanted to make sure they had a chance to hit the courts.

"They have so much energy and excitement about being out here. I've got girls playing against boys and everybody is okay with it and they're all playing hard and having fun," said Cindy Glynn with the Rogers Activity Center.

The kids were also able to brush up on their basketball skills -- in a competitive but friendly atmosphere.
