Fayetteville Animal Shelter Hosts Open House

FAYETTEVILLE, AR. -- The Fayetteville Animal Shelter, along with Santa, hosted an open house in hopes that some of their furry friends might find a forever home.
FAYETTEVILLE, AR. -- Santa, along with other workers at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter, hosted an open house at the shelter on Saturday.

Cats and dogs were up for adoption. Cats were only $5 and dogs were up for adoption at $10. All animals were spayed or neutered and had all their shots.

The open house wasn't just about the animals, it also showed off some of the changes to the shelter.

"We've done a lot of renovations here since the last year. We've put in new cages, we've done a lot of painting. It gives the public an opportunity to  see what a nice shelter is," said Richard Clehouse with the shelter.
