In addition to a plaque, Jones also received a free massage and tickets to a Razorback basketball game.
According to the bureau, Jones was chosen from the 12 monthly winners of 2013 who were honored for their exceptional examples of the city's ongoing commitment to provide outstanding service to each and every visitor. The Hospitality Hero program began in January 2013, is designed to stimulate and reward exceptional customer service by employees working in the hospitality industry. In its first year, the program received 210 nominations from 22 hotels and restaurants in Fayetteville. Hospitality Heroes can be nominated guests, customers or managers at Fayetteville tourism industry-related businesses by filling out a Hospitality Hero Nomination Card or emailing the nomination into the bureau
