Now a new nicotine testing policy to be enforced will require all employees to be screened for tobacco use.
A hospital administrator says she the rules help maintain the hospital's smoke-free mission course and is available free to all current employees and even to those qualified job candidates that apply for a job after Nov. 1.
Those new candidates who test positive for nicotine will beut turned down for jobs. They are allowed to re-apply in 180 days according to the new policy.
