The second-annual Pestofest got underway in Fayetteville over at Greenhouse Grille.
Proceeds go toward Tricycle Farms, which has a goal to end food security and educate others on how food is grown and where it comes from.
"We're trying to grow food city. We're trying to grow farmers and we're trying to teach people who have lost the connection to food over several generations that growing food is like printing money," says Don Lewis, director and founder of Tricycle Farms.
Money was raised today through a pesto contest, silent auction, raffles and more.
