'Hog Drop' Gets Decked Out

FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- The New Year's Eve celebration will be bigger than ever this year.
FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- There's a new Hog in town! Specifically, a new "Hog Drop".

On Saturday, the lineup was announced for "Last Night Fayetteville," the city's biggest New Year's Eve celebration. It is much like the ball drop in New York, but Northwest Arkansas has the "Hog Drop." It is only the third year for the event, but organizers say it has grown every year and they are ready to showcase something new.

"One of the new things we're doing is doubling the size of our main stage at the Fayetteville Town Center to accommodate more guests we're also moving into a couple different venues and we've expanded our programming lineup," says Lauren Embree, executive director.

Those who attend can expect more shows. It all goes down December 31 around the Fayetteville Square.
