Holiday Family Fun at Fayetteville Public Library!

FAYETTEVILLE -- If you're looking for some holiday fun for the whole family, the Fayetteville Public Library has you covered! All month long, the library will offer free afterschool workshops and holiday themed events for kids, and parents, of all ages!

Afterschool Workshops

Thursday, Dec 5 – Gingerbread House Decorating Workshop at 4pm

Tuesday, Dec 10 – Sugar Plum Storytime at 6:30 p.m.
Children are encouraged to come in their Christmas PJs to this story time designed to send them to bed with visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads!
Family Holiday Events

Wednesday, Dec 11 – Ringing in the Holidays with Strings at 4 p.m.
We cordially invite you to enjoy this treasured FPL holiday tradition. Browse our collection, sip coffee, or just sit and relax while enjoying the sounds of the season as
played by harpist Beth Stockdell.

Saturday, Dec 14 – Harpist Beth Stockdell at 11 a.m.
Join Beth in the Children’s Library for sounds of the holidays.

Saturday, Dec 7 - Celebrate Hanukkah
Families are invited to come and celebrate Hanukkah with members of Temple Shalom. This special holiday event will include stories, puppets, games, and food.

Saturday, Dec 14 – How the Grinch Stole Christmas Storytime
Join Sam von Bose as the Grinch as he reads the Dr. Seuss's Christmas classic!

Saturday, Dec 21 – Christmas Concert with The Kinder’s
Families are invited to celebrate the sounds of Christmas with Brian and Terri Kinder of Kindersongs!

Saturday Dec 28 – Storytime with Philip and Vanessa Rouse
Authors and illustrator, Vanessa and Phillip Rouse, will present their latest children’s book, Crazy Town, Upside Down.

Food Drives

Ranger’s Pet Food Drive – Dec 2 -23rd
Bring a donation of dry or canned pet food to the library and help us make the holidays merry for cats and dogs in Fayetteville. Donations will be accepted across from the Children’s Desk December 2 through December 23.
