LITTLE ROCK, AR-- For Walmart stores across the state, Black Friday weekend is as big as it gets. With 11,000 stores in 27 countries, it pays for the world's largest retailer to be prepared. With pallets full of hot holiday items, the back room of one Little Rock store is organized and ready for shipments. The retail giant is making sure the must-have items are in stock. That includes rows of bicycles, boxes of dolls, and tons of trucks for kids. Even some unexpected things are topping Christmas lists this year. "A 700 thread count sheets set from Better Home and Gardens," says Walmart's Tara Raddohl. "We've actually ordered 500% more of this item this year. We've been planning for about a year." Walmart is also giving to its employees. Anyone who works the week of Thanksgiving will get a paid day off. Anyone who worked on Thanksgiving will get an extra discount for shopping along with a free Thanksgiving meal.
