The 5th annual Jingle Bell Run raised $23,000 to help send kids to arthritis camp. Arthritis is a disease with more than 100 different types that affects many. Organizers told us more about why an event like this is so important.
"It's a disease that really has a strong impact, it's not just for old people, it's for young people as well and the more we can get people out and to learn about it the better it is and the more money we can raise," says Shauna Estes-Taylor, one of the organizers.
The festive event even encouraged runners to wear antlers while participating.
