Jury Selected, Trial Underway in Capital Murder Case

WASHINGTON COUNTY, AR--The trial is underway for the woman charged in connection with a local man's kidnapping and beating death.
WASHINGTON COUNTY, AR--The trial is underway for the woman charged in connection with a local man's kidnapping and beating death. Jury selection began Monday morning in the case against Heather Swain. Swain is charged as an accomplice to capital murder and kidnapping in the December 2012 death of Ronnie Lee Bradley near Prairie Grove. Bradley's body was was found in the driveway of a home in southwest Washington county. The two other men accused in the murder pleaded guilty to avoid the death penalty. If convicted, Swain faces life in prison. Her trial was set to begin Monday afternoon.
