Lights Go Up in the City

FAYETTEVILLE, AR-- Christmas is still weeks away, but the lights are going up downtown.
FAYETTEVILLE, AR-- Lights of the Ozarks's Lighting Night parade will take place in the Fayetteville town square starting on November 23rd at 6 p.m. Each year Fayetteville Parks and Recreation workers spend over 2,000 hours setting up a breathtaking display of 450,000 lights. Pony rides, fresh hot chocolate, and holiday music make this event fun for locals and visitors each year.

The Lights of the Ozarks parade is organized by the University of Arkansas Hospitality Management students in conjunction with the Fayetteville Visitors Bureau. Events that take place during the festival are coordinated with The Fayetteville Advertising & Promotion Commission.
