FAYETTEVILLE, AR-- The highlight of the holiday season in Northwest Arkansas is getting some upgrades this year. The Lights of the Ozarks is expanding its parade route in downtown Fayetteville to include Block Avenue and Dickson Street. Saturday, November 23rd, Dan Skoff will flip the switch enabling almost half-a-million lights to illuminate the square. Jonathan Martinez will also be there to help judge the parade floats. It takes about six weeks and more than 3,000 hours to get everything set up. And the lights are 100% LED. The event features a Christmas parade, carriage and pony rides, and hot chocolate and music. It starts at 6:00 PM.For more information on the new parade route, click here
