The large kettle was noticed missing Tuesday morning.
Thomas Greer, owner of Kopper Kettle, says he spoke with surrounding scrap metal yards and has been told that the kettle itself isn't worth much for the copper in it, but the kettle is a family heirloom that is priceless to his family and he wants it back.
The kettle weighs between 300-400 pounds and nearly four feet in diameter.
Greer says he is offering a 'sweet' reward for the return of the kettle.
