'Merry [Expletive] Christmas': Unwanted Gifts Lead to Arrest

FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- Police arrested a Fayetteville man they say left several gifts on a woman's front porch, along with a threatening note.
FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- A Fayetteville man's Christmas gift to a local woman landed him in jail, according to police.

Officers arrested Chad Castleberry on Thursday, December 26. They say he left several gifts on the woman's front porch, along with a threatening note. According to police, the woman called 911 after Castleberry tried to beat down her door. When they got to the home, they say they found several packages and a note stating 'Merry 'expletive' Christmas.' Police say Castleberry also sent the woman several texts, threatening to kill her and her family.

Castleberry faces several charges including terroristic threatening, third-degree assault and harassment.
