Police say they began investigating Brett Lee Trimmer, Jr. in 2010 after receiving a report from the Arkansas State Police Child Abuse Hotline.
According to court documents, the children- two boys and one girl- each reported numerous incidents of physical and sexual abuse by Trimmer.
The victims also claimed their mother witnessed the abuse, but made no attempts to stop it.
Trimmer denied the allegations in 2010 and claimed he could not return to Arkansas for an interview.
After failed attempts to contact Trimmer in August of this year, police issued an arrest warrant for him on three counts of rape.
He was booked into the Benton County Jail Tuesday to await a bond hearing.
