NWA Women's Shelter in Desperate Need of Donations

ROGERS, AR --The Northwest Arkansas Women's Shelter is housing about 30 adults and children right now, and it needs a few things to get them through this tough time.
ROGERS, AR -- Tis the season to lend a hand, and one local shelter is in desperate need of help. The Northwest Arkansas Women's Shelter is housing about 30 adults and children right now, and it needs a few things to get them through this tough time.

Here's a list of immediate needs:
  • Current Greatest Needs at the Shelter
  • Shampoo/Conditioner
  • Body wash
  • Hair brushes
  • Canned soup
  • Dry pasta
  • Women's pajama pants/shorts
  • Grocery gift cards for perishable food
  • Warm clothing (scarves, hats, mittens-all sizes)
  • Diapers (size 3, 4 and 5)
  • Women's underwear (size 4-6)
  • Feminine health/hygiene products
  • Women's socks
  • Children's pajamas (all sizes)
  • Slippers (non-skid soles-all sizes)
  • Hair products
  • Ozark Regional Transit bus passes
  • Heating pads
  • Toilet paper
  • Laundry detergent
  • Cleaning Supplies
Donations can be dropped off at the NWA Women's Shelter Thrift Store Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please alert them ahead of time by calling (479) 621-6116 or by emailing Rose Stanton at rstanton@nwaws.org.
