A paddle surfer in California gets up close and personal with a great white shark! Here's video captured by Mike Durand as he paddle surfed off Manhattan beach Wednesday. Take a look as you can see the great white swimming towards the board, even coming as close as swimming under it! The shark eventually swam away and now mike has quite a story to tell.

The world's first ever functioning "bionic man" is in Washington D.C. The robot, made entirely from bionic body parts, will be featured in a new documentary on Smithsonian channel this Sunday. He comes with a complete functioning circulatory system after billions of dollars of research.

The slackline world cup finals competition is getting underway in Las Vegas Thursday. Slacklining is like jumping on a trampoline, only it's on two pieces of webbing that are each just an inch wide! The slackliners took their best shot at crossing the 63 story high slackline between two casino's.
