Pair Arrested in 32 Graffiti Cases Around Fort Smith

FORT SMITH, AR-- Police have arrested two men connection to more than 30 cases of graffiti on the north side of town
FORT SMITH, AR-- Police have arrested two men connection to more than 30 cases of graffiti on the north side of town.

On November 12th, officers began investigating several graffiti cases.  Over the course of the next several days, detectives with the Street Crimes Unit began to identify suspects in those cases. Joseph Garcia,20, was the first to be identified and arrested on these cases on November 15th. Jimmy Rush, 24, was identified and arrested on Thursday. Both men were charged with:

1 count felony, Criminal Mischief
1 count felony, Criminal Mischief (Incorporating 31 misdemeanor counts)
1 count of Breaking or Entering

Both were taken to Sebastian County Detention Center on $30,000 bond each.
