Pat Narduzzi Wins 2013 Broyles Award

Pat Narduzzi, Defensive Coordinator Michigan State is the 18th recipient of the Broyles Award, given annually to the top assistant coach in college football. Pat Narduzzi was honored, along with his fellow finalists, at a Tuesday luncheon at the Marriott Hotel in Little Rock.

 "I'm floored by this,'' said Narduzzi, whose Spartans ranked No. 1 in the nation in total defense from the start to the finish of the season. "I don't even know what to say.''

The other finalists for the were: Rhett Lashlee, offensive coordinator/quarterbacks, Auburn; Philip Montgomery, offensive coordinator, Baylor; Kurt Roper, offensive coordinator/quarterbacks, Duke and Jeremy Pruitt, defensive coordinator, Florida State.
