FAYETTEVILLE, AR-- Police say the woman found dead inside her home Wednesday was 76-year-old Shirley Wolfe.

On Friday, Fayetteville Police Detectives traveled to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to witness the autopsy of the homicide victim.

FAYETTEVILLE, AR-- Police are looking for a man named Fabian Perales in connection with a murder investigation.

Detectives said Perales, 34, is described as Hispanic and could be driving a gold Toyota Camry with the license plate 487RBH.

Officers responded to a reported stabbing in south Fayetteville Wednesday afternoon.

Police received the report around 3:52pm. Investigators discovered the body of an elderly white woman inside this house at 510 S. College. Washington County Prosecutor John Threet was also called out to the house.

Fayetteville Police detectives said they have already spoken with another man, David Browning, who is currently in custody on unrelated charges. Both Perales and Browning are not suspects in the homicide as of Thursday night.

The woman's body has been sent to Arkansas State Crime Lab to be identified and confirm her cause of death.
