Pizza Party at Library Celebrates Winter Break & New Program

FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- The Fayetteville Public Library celebrated the winter break from school, and a new program, with a slice!
FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- The Fayetteville Public Library celebrated the winter break from school, and a new program, with a slice! The library served up pizzas to students Friday. They won a contest sponsored by the library's new internet-only program called the FPL i-Card. It was launched in early December, giving kids access to online tutoring, help with homework and downloadable e-books. Those things should keep them entertained during the holiday break!

"The library, of course, is always wanting to make things more accessible to the public," says Brandi Holt with the library. "This is a great opportunity to allow our kids to access us anywhere they are so they don't have to worry about if their mom can bring them to the library or not."
