FAYETTEVILLE, AR-- Police say a Fayetteville man faces several charges, accused of threatening to "fight to the death over macaroni." Officers say Stephen Cain's mother got scared of him this weekend when he became drunk and started threatening her. She told police when she left the home to drive to the police station, Cain sent her dozens of text messages, demanding she come back and cook him spaghetti. Officers say one of 80 texts included a threat reading, "please make me some spaghetti or I guess guns will come out." Police say a later text read, "we will fight to the death over macaroni." Cain faces harassment and terroristic threatening charges. His next court date is set for November 13th.
