The victims told police Angel Contreras, 36, had been thrown out of Platinum Cabaret Gentleman's Club early Thursday morning for inappropriate behavior.
As the victims were leaving work, they say Contreras and three other men harassed them from the Kum and Go convenience store next door.
Police say, later, as the victims drove past the Days Inn where Contreras was staying, they heard a gunshot, causing them to fear for their lives.
The victims were able to identify Contreras based on his tattoos.
The victims say they had gone to the Days Inn to look for another woman who worked at Platinum.
The women said as they drove by, Contreras and the three other men started "cat calling" in their direction and they heard the gunshot as they attempted to speed off.
Police say they found a shell casing just underneath the balcony where Contreras had been standing.
They later arrested Contreras and recovered the loaded gun from his truck.
He faces charges of aggravated assault, and discharging a firearm in city limits.
