Police: Missing Elderly Man Could be in Danger

FORT SMITH, AR-- Police are asking for help to find Merlin John Boyd who hasn't been seen since Friday.
FORT SMITH, AR-- Police are asking for help to find Merlin John Boyd who hasn't been seen since Friday.

Boyd, 76, is said to be a diabetic, and is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s.  He was reported missing from his home, located at 2100 North 31st Street Apt. 49, by close friends who often care for him.  Officers say there were no signs of a struggle or foul play.

Boyd was last seen having lunch at the Senior Center at Nelson Hall Homes, 2100 North 31st Street on Friday, November 8, 2013.

Boyd is in need of medications left at his apartment, and is considered missing and endangered. Anyone with information can call the Fort Smith Police Department at (479) 709-5100.
