CRAWFORD COUNTY, AR-- Police say an elderly couple was robbed at gunpoint inside their home.

The Crawford County Sheriff's Office says they are looking for two men who pulled a gun on the pair after breaking into their home in Chester Tuesday evening.

Homeowner, Glenn Kimes says the masked intruders took off with only about forty bucks in cash. During the robbery, one of the men asked him for a dip of chewing tobacco, Kimes says.

"Well, I gave him a dip of Skoal. I had a can there I didn't like and so I just told him I said you can have that.  And then he went off and left it laying in the floor.  I don't know whether he ever took the dip or not. I think he did."

Kimes says before the intruders left, they smashed all the phones in the house. Sheriff Ron Brown says the couple drove to a neighbors house and called 911 once the robbers left.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Crawford County Sheriff's department.
