UPDATE:

CENTRAL CITY, AR-- Officials confirmed 5-year Quinn Whitsitt who went missing Thursday has been found in New Mexico with his mom.  The Amber Alert was canceled after the two were located.

FBI in New Mexico reported they found Rainy Whitsitt and Quinn around 4:30PM.  They are working on getting warrants for Rainy on burglary and kidnapping charges.  Investigators said they saw her and a child enter the her home near Albuquerque then leave a short time later.  FBI pulled them over about a mile from the home, according to Sebastian County Sheriff's Office.

CENTRAL CITY, AR-- Authorities are still following leads after a 5-year-old boy went missing from his home in Central City. The search and rescue efforts are still ongoing.

Rainy Whitsitt, biological mother of Quinn Whitsitt, and her boyfriend Rodney Romero are now considered to be persons of interest in the investigation. Both are from the area of Albuquerque, New Mexico area.

Sebastian County Sheriff's Office says Rainy does not have custody of Quinn, but has made comments in the past that she would like to have her son again.

Rainy Whitsitt and Rodney Romero may be driving a White Toyota Camry. They could also be driving a 2013 Ford C Max a New Mexico license plate of MKA 551. The Ford is a hatchback and silver in color.

The FBI in New Mexico is working with the local investigation to find Whitsitt and Romero. They are still working on their location.

Whitsitt is a described as a white female 5’1” in height and weighing 120 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Romero is described as 5’8” in height and weighing 170 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information concerning the persons of interest or Quinn is asked to call the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office at 479-783-1051 or their local FBI office.

CENTRAL CITY, AR-- Sebastian County Sheriff deputies are looking for a 5-year old boy who went missing in Central City.

The child’s name is Quinn Whitsitt. Quinn is five years of age. His grandparents have custody of the child. He is described as a white male weighing 42 lbs and his height is 3’1”.  He was last seen wearing a white pajama top and blue pajama bottoms. The child was last seen by his grandparents at around 1:00 am in his bed asleep. At around 6:00 am the grandparents went to check on Quinn and the child was missing from his bed. He was not found in the home either.

According to the Morgan Nick Alert, both the interior and exterior garage doors were open at the home. Rainy Whitsitt, Quinn's non-custodial mother has been named as a person of interest in this investigation.  She lives in New Mexico and Arkansas State Police say they have not been able to make contact with her. She drives a white 2010 Toyota Camry with unknown NM license plate.  A second person of interest is Rainy's possible boyfriend, Rodney Romero W/M DOB 1966/08/17 driving an unknown color 2013 Ford CMAX, which may be unlicensed. Rainy has a protection order against the Romero subject.

According to this article in the Rio Rancher Observer, Rainy is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion fighter and moved to New Mexico from Fort Smith to study martial arts and follow a career in competitive fighting.

The Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office, the FBI, and the Arkansas State Police are all involved in the investigation. Investigative leads are being checked even in other states. Officers from the Lavaca, Central, Barling, and Alma Police Departments are on scene as well. Sebastian County Search and Rescue personnel are conducting an area search for Quinn. Aircraft searched the area from above.

The Sheriff said they don't suspect foul play.  A Morgan Nick Alert has been issued for Quinn.
