Police to Host Training for Handling a Home Invasion or Active Shooter

SPRINGDALE, AR-- Springdale police are looking to train folks on how to handle an active shooter situation.

The class is October 29th at the Springdale High School and has room for 150 participants.  They'll go through mental and physical tactics that could help increase survivability in a violent or active shooter incident at your home, work or school.

History and Analysis of Active Shooter Incidents
A.L.I.C.E. - (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter and Evacuate) Strategies to enchance institutional lockdown plans

This class will benefit administrators, employees, principals, teachers, security officers, health care professionals, and anyone else interested in surviving the unthinkable in their workplace.
