Women's Self-Defense Course set for Nov. 2 in Rogers
ROGERS, AR -- Some local cops are looking to arm ladies with knowledge to keep themselves safe. The Rogers Police Department is hosting a SHARP class on Saturday, November 2. SHARP stands for Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention. The research-based class teaches women to stay calm and confident in dangerous situations, as well as how to defend themselves. The techniques are easy to learn and easy to use and remember. That makes them perfect for beginners with little or no self-defense or martial arts experience. According to Rogers P.D., SHARP is recognized as one of the most effective foundations for self-defense training.
It's a free class, but registration is required and space is limited. To sign up for the SHARP class, call or email Officer Keith Foster at (479) 936-3635 or email@example.com.
